Napier City Rovers are excited to invite aspiring youth players to our open trainings for our 2026 Central Development League (CDL) programme, powered by Albion Coaching.

The NCR CDL programme sits at the heart of our club’s youth player pathway, providing a high-quality, long-term development environment for players who aspire to progress into our Senior 1^st teams and beyond.

Dates & Times

All trainings will be held at Napier City Rovers Training Fields.

• Tuesday 3rd February – 4:30pm start
  • U13 Boys (Born 2013 & 2014)
  • U13 (Born 2013 & 2014) & U15 Girls (Born 2011 & 2012)

• Thursday 5th February – 4:30pm start
  • U14 (Born 2012 & 2013) & U15 Boys (Born 2011 & 2012)

• Sunday 8th February – 10:00am start
  • All age groups

Selected players will receive invitations on Tuesday 10th February, with the official programme commencing on Thursday 12th February.

To welcome families into the programme, we will also host a club BBQ and meet-and-greet at Napier City Rovers for all selected players and families across the age groups. Date and time TBC

Programme Overview

The 2026 NCR CDL programme will run from February through Terms 1, 2, and 3, with:

• Two on-field training sessions per week
• Coaching delivered by qualified Albion Coaching staff.
• A clear focus on technical development, game understanding, and personal growth
• Physical testing across the season to track and support individual player development.

Programme Cost

The full-season cost is $995, which includes:

• Albion training kit
• Albion quarter-zip jacket
• Napier City Rovers club registration fees
• Official NCR playing shirt
• NCR Waterproof Jacket
