The Thirsty Whale Restaurant and Bar Napier City Rovers are excited to announce the formation of a Women’s Federation side for the 2026 season! This is a major step forward in our commitment to delivering a strong, sustainable pathway to the highest levels of women’s football in New Zealand.

To support this growth, we are pleased to share that Shelley Cameron will take on the role of Director of Women’s Football, providing leadership and direction across our female football space.

We’re also proud to announce Chris McIvor as Head Coach of the Federation Team, with Stu Wilson joining him on the coaching staff to create a strong and experienced support team for our players.
