Napier City Rovers is excited to partner with Albion to bring high-quality football programmes to local junior players. These initiatives reflect our shared commitment to provide exceptional opportunities for all young players to grow.

Together, we’re working towards building a complete development pathway in Hawkes Bay, ensuring every player has the chance to challenge themselves, develop their skills, and foster a deep love for the game.

We’re thrilled to introduce two new programmes in Term 1 for 2025:

Albion+ (Ages 7 to 12 years old)

When: Tuesdays, 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm

Where: Park Island

Dates: Feb 18th-April 8th

Our Albion PLUS+ programme is tailored for players aged 7 to 12 year olds, the beginning of the ‘golden age’ of skill development. Through engaging activities and mini-games, this programme focuses on technical growth and instilling a lifelong passion for football. Albion+ emphasises Albion’s core values and football philosophy, delivering age-appropriate sessions that are both challenging and fun.

Players are encouraged to give their all, improving their confidence, coordination, and technical ability while developing a love for teamwork and competition. This programme aims to unlock their potential and inspire a commitment to ongoing development with positive reinforcement.

Little Albion (Ages 4 to 6 years old)

When: Thursdays, 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm

Where: Park Island

Dates: Feb 20th- April 10th

For our youngest footballers, Little Albion provides a playful introduction to the beautiful game. This programme focuses on fun and fundamentals, helping children develop basic motor and ball skills in an inclusive and supportive environment. Our experienced coaches prioritise enjoyment, ensuring every child leaves with a smile and a love for football.
