Bring Joy to a Child in Need: Donate a Toy and Get FREE Entry to the our next Home Game!

This holiday season, we’re calling for support to make a difference in the lives of children at Ronald McDonald House Wellington—so we need your help! Every year, many children spend their days in the hospital, facing difficult treatments and long stays. But you can brighten their day by donating a new, unwrapped toy to our toy drive.

In exchange for your generosity, we’re offering FREE entry to the final home game against Auckland City, 17th November for every toy donated! That's right—your gift of a toy not only brings joy to a child, but it also scores you a seat at the game!

Why This Matters:

Fergus Neil, a valued player at Napier City Rovers and his wife Julia, have a personal connection to the Ronald McDonald House where your donations will go. Fergus and Julia's son, Ardie James Neil, was born prematurely on November 12 at just 27 weeks' gestation, weighing only 1.2kg. During those early and difficult days, Fergus and his family experienced first-hand the critical care that these hospitals provide. 

Your toy donation will bring a little light and comfort to children and families who are going through some of the most challenging times of their lives.

How You Can Help:

1. New gifts- Toys, games, books for teenagers

2. New toys/books for babies/toddlers e.g. big plastic trucks, ride on toys, board books.

3. New gifts for parents

4. Gift cards ($10, $20, $25) for families e.g. supermarket, The Warehouse, petrol stations or movies

5. Spread the Word – Share this campaign with friends, family, and coworkers to help us collect even more toys for these amazing kids.

Deadline for Toy Donations:

Every toy you donate helps make a child’s hospital stay just a little bit easier. With your support, we can bring smiles, laughter, and comfort to kids in need—and you get to enjoy a great football game too!
