The Napier City Rovers Football Skills Holiday Programme is back for the upcoming school holidays. The three-and-a-half day programme offers local kids the chance to learn to play football the Napier City Rovers way in a fun, action packed, and professional footballing environment. Led by Napier City Rovers UEFA B licensed coach Bill Robertson, the course gives young participants access to coaching methods used by the Rovers head coach with players like Central League Golden Boot leader Angus Kilkolly. The curriculum allows children to learn from one of New Zealand's top coaches and players, and other high ranking Central League players, while being able to socialise and make new friends in a fun, safe environment. “Players can expect an enjoyable, safe and exciting football environment, with the opportunity to train and play with Central League players at the premier football venue in Hawkes Bay,” says Bill Robertson. “The holiday programme will focus on the key skills of football through a series of fun, challenging interactive games, and coaching sessions from qualified and experienced coaches.” Open to youngsters of all abilities aged 6-13, whether they are taking their first kicks into the game, or an advancing player aiming to play pro. Players will be grouped and offered coaching to match their abilities and enhance their personal development. At the Napier City Rovers Football Skills Programme there is something for everyone. Dates: 10 - 13 July, Mon - Wed 9am - 3pm, Thurs 9am - 12pm.
