SPECIAL MEETING

The following motion was adopted at the meeting held on Monday 29 June 2009.

"The HBU Board recommends that the implementation of the new Hawke’s Bay United Football Inc Constitution adopted at the AGM held 29th September 2008, and due to come into force 1st July 09, be delayed until  1st July 2010.”

Additional information:-The new Constitution was adopted to allow HBU to expand its membership to include the wider football community of Hawke’s Bay. The assumption was that there would be a clear indication of the future of the Franchised NZFC prior to the new Constitution becoming effective. As this is evidently not the case, it is considered in the best interests of our current members not to proceed until there is clarity around HBU’s future.
